The Depot is managed by Here Students. In 2025/26 for our year 1 undergraduate students, we have secured 337 en-suite rooms within cluster flats ranging from 2 to 11 students sharing a kitchen/diner.
Games room: Enjoy the pool table, fussball table and table tennis inside and if the sun is out, you can master badminton as well.
Free gym: 24/7 access to the residents only gym.
Study rooms: Big enough to study alone or with friends. to study together. Plus a bookable private dining/study room.
Outdoor social space: Courtyard space with loungers and many tables. When it gets cooler you can still be outside in the study pods that get very popular during exam times.
Residence Team: On hand to give you help and support whenever you need it. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-7pm and Friday 9am-5pm.
Security team: Providing you safety and reassurance out of office, as part of our residence team. Simply ring our emergency number and we will be able to assist.
CCTV: For added peace of mind we have CCTV throughout all communal areas of our building.
Social events: There will be a full calendar of events that you to pick and choose from, such as table tennis tournaments, Lego and painting parties, celebrating different religious events. The team invites the residents to enjoy activities outside such as planting, badminton tournaments and get to know each other food parties.

Bed size
All en-suite rooms at The Depot have small double bed (four feet wide). The height of the storage space under the bed is a minimum of 29cm.
All en-suite bedrooms in The Depot have:
- Bed (see 'Room and bed sizes' tab above for more details), wardrobe, desk with drawer unit and desk chair.
- Bookshelves above the desk and additional shelving next to the bed, noticeboard, coat hooks, full length mirror and waste bin.
- High speed wired and wireless network/internet is available. You will need to register online to receive access.
The en-suite comprises:
- shower cubicle with sliding glass door, washbasin, toilet facilities, mirror, shelving space and razor charging point.
Each cluster flat has a shared kitchen equipped with an oven and induction hob, vacuum cleaner, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, dining table and chairs, and a sofa and a tv.
Mop and bucket, iron and ironing board are all kept at reception and can be loaned out for free on request.
Toasters and kettles are not provided but we would recommend you wait until you arrive and look to purchase these items with your flatmates, or take advantage of items in our Gift It, Reuse It scheme.
